ALUTA CONTINUA Prof jize!! nandi ya Daimond Jubilee
He started music in early 90’s popularly known as “Nigga J” and many others, now he is widely known as Professor Jay or some people including me like to call him Prof Jize.
Prof Jize whose real name is Joseph Haule was born in Dar-es-salaam on 29 December 1975, he is the sixth among the nine children of the family of Mrs Leonard Steven Haule and Rose Majanjara
No doubt Prof jize has contributed a great deal in revolutionalizing the music industry in Tanzania especially hiphop which was not appreciated by the society for quiet long time especialy in the 80’s and early 90’s.
I’m sure you will agree with me that apart from MR II a.k.a SUGU whose real name is Joseph Mbilinyi, Prof Jize who until now has been awarded not less than 25 Music awards in just 15 years he has spent in the game has influenced a lot of change in people’s perception towards Hiphop music, before he release the first album which was named “CHEMSHA BONGO” meaning brainstorm with his group named HARDBLASTERS, hiphop music was not valued by the society, as many adults strongly believed that hiphop music was all about copying and imitating the western culture, using drugs and bad languages, I asure you it was not easy for a Tanzanian hiphop artist to even sell a single copy of his album, people used to prefer local African music and some preferred pop music, by that time when Michael Jackson was up and top as the king of pop. Thus it was such a big challenge for HipHop artists to depend their lives until when Prof Jize with his group Hardblasters released their hit song “CHEMSHA BONGO” which carried the name of the album with such an outstanding message in it. The song captured the hearts and minds of every Tanzanian who listened to it, it really rocked the Tanzanian airwaves. People started loving and believing in hiphop music like never before and that hiphop could play a crucial role in entertanining and educating as well.
Until the end of 90 there was and increase in the number of artists, artists could then sell their work dispite the return being not enough and pleasing, today artist can depend their life in music because Tanzanians have positive perception towards hiphop music. No doubt Prof Jize is an activist and a revolutionary, his contribution towards the Tanzanian hiphop music will always be remembered and honoured.
Prof Jize will be launching his 4th album on Friday 04 April 2008 as a solo artist since 2001, the album goes by the name “ALUTA CONTINUA”, and he is launching it signifying that the battle in availing the true meaning of hip-hop countinues, his hit single named “hapo vipi? Hapo sawa? which is included in this new album, Still rocks the charts on Tv and radio stations all over Tanzania.
The album “ALUTA CONTINUA” has been recorded and produced at Bongo Records, Mandugu Digital, MJ Production, Ketekul, Wow Pow Records & No End.
His previoulsly released albums include;
1. Machozi,Jasho na Damu (Tears, sweat and blood) - 2001
2. Mapinduzi halisi (Real revolution) - 2003
2. J.O.S.E.P.H - 2006

Nakaaya started loving Music when she was young girl singing in a school choirs, and with no doubt you will agree with me that this Tanzanian girl is talented and blessed with her undeniable exciting voice and she is using it effectively in fighting for dignity of a true African woman.
The Album “Nervous Conditions” was recorded in Dar es salaam, Tanzania by Mandugu digital’s super producer Ambrose Akwabi in Dar es salaam, it contains about 11 songs which carry zeal, pride, courage and compassion with it has been crafted for almost a year, I guarantee you that the album is a hit.
